Plettenberg Bay is often hot and pleasant in summer and has mild, wet winters. The Garden Route is considered to have one of the most temperate climates in the world, with almost year-round sunshine.
Hot summer temperatures are between 24°C (75F) and 30°C (86F). In the mid-winter months (June, July and August), days are often mild and warm but when the sun sets, the air becomes crisp and cold.
Tamodi has a pool and outdoor braai/barbeque for those summer days, the beautiful white sand beach of Keurbooms is a couple of minutes’ drive away. It is equally enjoyable in the colder months with 3 massive indoor fireplaces, two lounges and a comfortable reading room. There are also many great hikes in the area which can be done throughout the year.
