We loved everything about Tamodi Lodge. It was the best part of our trip to South Africa. We stayed in one of the detached suites & it was fabulous! The room, the view, the bath, the outside shower, the walk-in wardrobe, the wood burner fire, the swing seat on the deck, the breakfast, the welcoming staff - all top notch.

Well situated on the garden route for exploring we’d highly recommend. But don’t just stay for one night - this place is too special for that. We fell in love with it and will definitely go back.

We stayed in 7 different hotels during our trip through the garden route and this was definitely our favourite.

...it was far by the best place we stayed at during our 2 weeks in South Africa. Our room was the recently completed Deluxe Honeymoon suite which was absolutely fantastic. The room is open plan, very spacious and makes the very best of the breathtaking scenery as well as providing true comfort.

I am not a man given to gushing over any place. However in this instance I am having to reign myself in. Tamodi Lodge is one of the best residences I have stopped at. The views are stunning, the food is amazing and the wine cellar offers something for everyones palate

I only wish we could have stayed for longer ... perhaps forever 🙂

If this is 4 star then only Heaven should be allowed 5 star.

...supremely comfortable, private and, yes, just a bit decadent but in the most tasteful of ways. The place is a designer dream full of space, quiet art, peaceful moments, stunning views and beautiful furnishings. You really do feel as though this is one of the most stunning place you are ever likely to stay in.
